Peanut Brittle
 
Ingredients
  • 2c white sugar
  • 1 c white (corn?) syrup
  • ½c water
  • 1 pound raw peanuts
  • 1 tsp soda
Instructions
  1. Boil the sugar, syrup, and water until a soft ball stage - 236°.
  2. Add one pound of raw peanuts.
  3. Let boil to 290°, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp baking soda. Pour into a cookie sheet greased with butter.
