Nancy’s Vegetable Soup

Nancy's Vegetable Soup
 
Ingredients
  • 2lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 quart or 5-1/4 cups tomato juice
  • 1 cup stewed tomatos or 1 quart
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp or less garlic salt
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup carrots diced or sliced
  • 2 tsp basil
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp onion flakes
  • 1 cup canned mushrooms, drained (optional)
  • 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
  • 2 cups green beans (any kind)
  • 2 cups cabbage, small pieces
Instructions
  1. In large saucepan, brown beef (drain well).
  2. Combine all other ingredients and add beef.
  3. Simmer 2 hours.
