Dessert Torta

Instructions
  1. Beat 6 egg whites and ¼tsp cream of tartar til peaks form.
  2. Fold in gradually 2 cups sugar, 2tsp vanilla, and to 2 cups rolled soda crackers crumbs - five krispie zesta & 1 cup chopped nuts.
  3. Pour into 13x9 pan.
  4. Bake at 350° 25 minutes.
  5. When completely cool, cover with one large package of cool whip and top with one can of Thank You pie filling (lemon).
  6. Refrigerate over night.
  7. Top with more cream if desired
Notes
"Thank You" pie filling was a brand, so this should be easily substituted.

Krispie Zesta looks to me to be saltine crackers, as are "soda crackers" mentioned earlier in that line.
